Potluck Farewell to our Friend and Brother Last Thursday, March 27 the Brethren of Braden Lodge gathered to wish our sitting Junior Steward a fond and regretted farewell.
Last Thursday, March 27 the Brethren of Braden Lodge gathered to wish our sitting Junior Steward a fond and regretted farewell. Bro. Steve Bottari was intiated into Braden Lodge in 2006. He has been a active supporter and of regular service to the Lodge, arriving early and leaving late. This year he was appointed to the Jn Steward position which he served well.
The Brothers attended in substantial numbers, A practice for the Fellow Craft degree had been scheduled before the party and the Brothers leaving the Lodge room were pleasantly suprised that the attendance of other Brothers for Steve's honor had doubled our attendance. Unfortunately the receding economy caught him. His work was terminated due to the foundering economy and he has struggled to find employment. At last he was offered a good position in Nashville Tenn. He did not feel he could turn it down. Steve said the only real regret he has with this position was leaving Braden. His Brothers heartily share that regret. We also are pleased for we are taught to rejoice in each other’s prosperity and this position appears to be an excellent opportunity for Steve. None is more deserving of good fortune. Tennesee has gained a good mason, but Steve will be hard to replace. Good Luck Steve |
