Braden’s Junior Warden takes the East for the first time as Worshipful Maser in the Fellowcraft Degree. Brother Van Wagner assembled one of the most satisfying Fellowcraft degrees that has been done for some time.
WM Alex DeMarco opened on the Entered Apprentice degree and conducted minimum regular business and the New entered Apprentices proved proficient upon being examined by our Chaplain. Whereupon the Lodge was called from Labor to Refreshment by the Worshipful Master. Junior Warden Anthony Van Wagner then took the East for the first time and called the Lodge from Refreshment to Labor on the 2nd Degree.

The Lodge was closed, after some business regarding the officer’s attendance to Grand Lodge. After which the Brethren retired to the Dinning Room For refreshment and Fellowship.
The staircase lecture presented by three separate Brothers represents a creative spirit. By having three Brothers learn parts of this difficult lecture it allows new brothers to build and practice until each can accomplish the whole lecture, thus deepening the performance skills of the lodge. Additionally the lecture is sufficiently long that the change of voice between major sections is not an unwelcome moment as a matter of performance. Thus the variation in staging accomplished a nice presentation for the initiates, and something to breathe new life into ritual that some of our brothers have heard many times. This demonstrates once again that Masonry is a living and vital Craft. Bros Anthony is to be commended for his willingness to experiment for the good of the Fraternity.
(If the pictures turn out, there will be photos of this event in our Gallery in a few days.)
